FAQs
Where are you located?
We can travel anywhere on-site to you. Our home base is Northern, NJ and we mainly cover Sussex, Morris, Essex, Bergen and Hudson Counties.
We also offer in-studio services for one on one appointments by referral and the soon to be wed.
Do you require a Deposit to book?
All services require a non-refundable retainer in the amount of $100 to hold your desired date. This retainer fee will then come off your service balance total.
What are your Travel Rates?
We require a $1 per mi round trip compensation for any on-site services per artist.
What services do you offer?
We’re an inclusive company beautifying all genders, all ages, and all skin tones offering services for special occasions, weddings, professional photo/video, red carpet and gala events, and educational lessons for both the public and pros.
Please Note: Preview Trials are for the soon to be wed ONLY. We do not offer trials for special occasions such as prom or loved ones included in the wedding day. This ensures our calendar remains open for clients that are eager to work with us trusting in our skills and abilities based on our portfolio work and current social media pages. Should you insist on a loved one trialing for your wedding they must be on the same day as your trial and there may be an increase in pricing to ensure fair compensation for additional time spent and/or travel.
Do you offer touch up Services?
Yes. We offer customized stay on touch up services for you and all your loved ones beauty needs for all occasions.
Can you tell me more about the team?
We have artists, that, like Kris, specialize in one craft and we have other artists that can do both hair and makeup. Although Kris holds a current NJ Cosmetology license she does not offer hair services personally. Kris specializes in makeup and education. When Kris is unable to take on a client personally you’ll be given the option of using on her team members. Our artists are licensed, seasoned professionals with at least 5 years experience with most having 10-15+ years under their belt. Rest assured that the artist(s) chosen for you and/or your loved ones are the best fit for your requested beauty services, needs and event details. The best artist(s) for the job will be chosen and their portfolio(s) presented to you for approval. Should you be booking your preview trial/wedding day services the artist(s) at your trial will be the artist(s) for the wedding day as well.
Is there a minimum # of services in order to book?
We do require a minimum to book during peak season which is May-December and weekends (Fri-Sun).
Weddings: Must have 4 of each type of service (hair and/or makeup)
Special Occasion/Photo Shoot/Video/Film: Must be willing to travel to our studio or pay our day rate for on-site services (see pricing page fro more info)
Do you offer any discounts?
Kris understands that budgeting for any special occasion while finding someone who ticks every box is key when choosing your beauty team. Therefore we offer discounted rates for booking multiple events, stay on services, referrals and junior assistants. Exclusions apply. Please inquire for more details.
