From the owner

Hi! I’m Kris. I’m an artist and educator with 19 years of professional experience in the beauty industry. I pride myself on paying close attention to detail and educating clients on products, skincare and application techniques. I started out working in hair salons during and after cosmetology school and have gained experience in various fields throughout the years working in fashion, editorial, commercial, esthetics/waxing, retail/management, educational training for luxury brands, and sfx makeup applications. I’m a nerd and forever curious. I love to learn so I’m usually doing lots of research, experimenting with looks and taking courses to keep up with new products and techniques related to beauty, art, biology and science. Fun fact: I was studying pathology/biology in college before I decided to switch gears and follow my first love - art.

I need you to know that I think you’re beautiful just the way you are. I want clients to realize that we shouldn’t feel pressured into conforming to societal pressures, engaging in every trend with fomo, or buying in to consumer obsessions that only serve corporate greed. I want to help my clients face the world with confidence through comradery, education, application, and budgeting to achieve THEIR ideal look. You are uniquely you and no matter how you choose to wear makeup, or style your hair, it’s wonderfully you and I’m here for it!

When I'm not working with my clients, I'm teaching classes at a private makeup school, gardening, painting, or spending time with family and friends.
